STORY_E_ITCE students and lecturers join forces to enhance the quality of ITCE education

On Thursday 4th February, 2016, ITCE students and lecturers join forces to enhance the quality of ITCE education as they worked together in preparation of ABET recognition.

In preparation of program learning outcome ( PLO ), Mr. Wasin Rungnithiphaibun, Ms. Benjaporn Ngamkitcharoenlap, Mr. Panuwat Ongeard and Ms. Kiatrada Thammakumpee presented about required abilities announced by companies looking to recruit civil engineers. There are many important abilities other than abilities to calculate, such as knowledge in computer programming, Certificate of Engineering, English skill, good human relation, etc. Furthermore, ITCE student representatives conducted a survey among their peers and found that most are interested in the interactive methods of teaching. They think the lecture-based method is insufficient. However, Dr. Julapot added that other factors might influence additional civil engineering requirement in the future, such as nature mega-disaster, global warming aging society digital economy, etc.

The conclusion of the meeting cause study improvement not only longer in lecture-based and change viewpoint of CE graduates qualification which must have additional qualification unless knowledge.
