The group led by Mr. Jason Simpson, managing director of Ove Arup (Thailand) Co., Ltd., came to share their profound knowledge about the structural design of the high rise building and infrastructures. Mr. Theerasak Kaewkhluab, the main speaker, provided a lot of practical information and the case studies for the students. The focus of his presentation was on the construction of underground MRT station in Bangkok which demanded an out-of-the-box design concept. The presentation did not only give technical insight but also inspirations to CE students. After the presentation, the students actively discussed with the ARUP team.
